CITRA
Palmer House

We purchased the Palmer House along with the Ravenswood House as a single property in 2019. Both homes sat side by side on a half acre lot. The Palmer House was a 2k+ square foot structure with an odd history. It was built in the early 50’s as a small neighborhood church and was left abandoned for some time. The previous owners converted it to living space but they primarily used it as their workshop. It was absent from the real estate listing photos, but it caught our eye in person and we knew it had a lot of promise. We started by renovating the Ravenswood House first, moved into it, and then shifted our attention to this property the following year.

This renovation became our covid project. We started construction in January of 2020 and “completed” it by the summer. Our goal was to build this out for ourselves, split the two properties, sell the Ravenswood and keep this. We did just that, but we only lived here for about a year before landing upon another project, the Saratoga House. Palmer is currently operating as a long term rental through March 2026.
